The Federal Administration strives to make web content and mobile applications accessible. The eCH-0059 Accessibility Standard Version 3 (german) requires compliance with the criteria of WCAG 2.1 at conformance level AA.

The natural hazards portal www.natural-hazards.ch is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1, level AA. The site was certified at AA level on 1 July 2026 by the foundation "Access for All". “Access for all” is the competence centre in Switzerland for access to and usage of web-based technology without barriers.
